This company was created to fill a need....that is the desire to be able to dine in a respectable venue without looking sloppy

Here's a little background:

I'm Rob Shepard.  My wife, Daryl and I are hard-core food appreciators who love to travel.  When we do, we research the local restaurants, check out places recommended by locals or friends who’ve been there before, and explore the fine dining establishments suggested by chefs or the Michelin guide.  Usually we will go dressed for the occasion and often - more times than not - there is the potential for splatterage or splashing, whether it be sauces or drinks or just careless food dropping….particularly if we’re learning to eat a new way or with unfamiliar utensils.  Whatever the case, there’s always the potential to get food on ourselves…….

Forget it, let’s get down to brass tacks - my wife gets food on her clothing whenever and wherever we go out to eat.  There, I said it!  I designed Couture Angel products so she can look elegant and stylish no matter where we go, without fear of messing up her clothes, looking like a slob with a napkin shoved into her décolletage or needing to do extra loads of laundry or dry cleaning - especially when we’re abroad!

Yes, this apparel is more expensive than just sticking a napkin into your shirt collar, but I feel that if you’ve taken the trouble and expense of dressing well, it’s worth it to spend a little more and protect your investment (and dignity) in style.

Everyone I’ve spoken with, when discussing food and restaurants, tends to agree with me and many have told me that if I created something to fill that niche, they would buy it.  Well I’ve had several instances in my life where I was in a “shit or get off the pot” situation…..
